Taking a multidisciplinary approach to investigating Kinesthetic Empathy

The special things that only movement/dance can tell us.

Hello, friends of Watching Dance and the Ning forum
I read a most compelling article the other day by Maxine Sheets-Johnstone on the uniqueness of kinesthesia and movement -- beyond what neuroscience conceives of as "embodiment" and more fundamental than "action". Sheets-Johnstone outlines ways in which space-time-effort are exemplified/manifested in movement. I would welcome any comments on the article -- what and how it is that movement itself (and dance, by extension) provide unique information, allow for relational depth.
